KEIRA (Annie Robinson) and EMMA (Ella Grealy) return to their farm in the remote Midlands of KwaZulu Natal to find things are no longer what they seem. PANOS (Brendan Grealy), Keira's husband and father to Emma is incensed by the discovery of an online friendship between Keira and a mysterious 'Irishman'. Panos persuades GUNTHER (Mark Mulder) to spy on Keira by hacking into her face-book account and to gather evidence. Gunther is Panos's long time business associate who is comfortably staying rent-free on the property in a cottage while he helps Panos with his new business acquisitions. Panos asks his sister, OLGA (Fiona Ramsay), to stay with him on the farm while Keira is overseas visiting her son from a previous marriage.
