On the verge of being made a partner, a ambitious adman (Hoffmann) is given notice for his new position at a prominent New York Ad firm. But when his aspiring protégé (Lindorf) publicly announces his departure from the firm, Hoffmann must vie with Lindorf for their number of shared clients. While mustering all the projects he can afford, Hoffmann catches wind that Lindorf has acquired a pitch to a major European client and quickly seizes the opportunity. The two manage to gain the attention of Madam Rousseau of the Rousseau Luxury Brand and are invited to attend the unveiling of her new clothing line in London.
